With a compact Total length of 336 mm, a weight of 630 g and a tube diameter of 30 mm the scope is no longer very small, but still handy and fits on every rifle. This sight is equipped with a very large Field of vision of 12.5 m at 100 m or 2.5 m at maximum magnification.

The Mil Ext reticle with First Focal Plane (FFP) was specially developed for optical IF systems with a first focal plane and is based on the established principles for reticles with Mil spacing.

With markings at half-mil intervals up to 10 mil holdover points upwards, the FFP Mil Pro is a versatile reticle that offers many aiming points even under the most extreme conditions.

All reticles have mil spacing as well as 1 mil, 0.5 mil and 0.25 mil markings for distance measurement. Every second mil spacing in the lower section is numbered to ensure quick and easy target acquisition with good clarity.

Each "cross" is transparent and therefore allows an unobstructed view of the target. The thick outer lines are hollow lines so that they are visible at all magnifications without obstructing the view.

Reticles are in the 1st image plane and change in relation to the change in magnification.

The reticle's illuminated dot can be adjusted in 11 stages and can be used both during the day and at night.

The high reticle turrets are classically arranged at the top and right of the centre tube.

The turrets are provided with a numerical scale and work according to the European standard in 1 cm (1⁄10 MRAD) steps per click. This means that the reticle adjusts by 1⁄10 MRAD (1 cm at 100 m) per click.

The reticle adjustment unit is mounted on the left side and top for ease of use. Total adjustment range for the FRONTIER FFP 3-15×50 sight of the two turrets:
