PULSAR THERMION 2 LRF XP50 PRO | THERMAL IMAGING RIFLESCOPE WITH INTEGRATED LASER DISTANCE MEASUREMENT

Welcome to the age of sensors coupled with state-of-the-art digital intelligence. Yes, that's right, we now live in a world in which high-end aids have become indispensable. You could perhaps also say that we live in two worlds. In a real and a virtual reality.

The new Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XP50 PRO Thermal imaging telescope with Integrated laser distance measurement brings state-of-the-art technology, namely sensors below 25 mK NETD sensitivity (thermal sensitivity of the 640×480 PRO sensor - the smaller, the better!) on the market.

Even the smallest temperature differences in heavy rain, dense fog or cold mornings clearly visible so that the game and its response characteristics can be easily recognised and identified.

As usual, the technology is built into the traditional 30 mm riflescope design, with the aesthetics and feel of a traditional day riflescope, but with thermal imaging performance at the highest level.

With the PULSAR Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro thermal imaging riflescope, you can rely on 100%ig in any situation and for long shots. This WB riflescope is the perfect companion for all hunting challenges.

While the measurable specifications on paper are similar to the previous Thermion 2 XP50, the new Thermion 2 LRF XP50 PRO but with brand new electronics and a laser distance measuring unit which is attached to the lens.

All in all, this means even greater precision, even better image processing, even greater energy efficiency and a more stable WiFi connection.

This eagerly awaited thermal imaging target optic thus provides exceptional, high-contrast thermal images for improved identification or targeting of animals, their extremities and other minute details such as leaves, branches, etc.

PULSAR Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro - Next generation thermal imaging performance with laser distance measurement

Thanks to the Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro's fast germanium optics in the lens (F50/1.0 ) one Optimum transmission of heat radiation, This minimises noise and improves the detail of the observed scene.

The Integrated laser falls into the protection class for laser devices in accordance with IEC 60825-1:2014 and operates at a wavelength of 905 nm. The maximum Measuring range is 800 m - the measuring accuracy is ± 1 m.

In combination with the highly sensitive heat sensor, the thermal imaging riflescope offers amazing detection capabilities.

One discovers a 1.8 m high object at a distance of up to 2,300 m in daylight or complete darkness. And that with a detailed, high-contrast image - no problem even in rain or fog.

The lens's internal focussing mechanism ensures a razor-sharp image at any distance.

The ergonomically designed focussing wheels on both sides of the Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro make focussing child's play, regardless of whether you are working with your left or right hand.

The basic magnification of 2x increases digitally in steps of up to 16x, allowing the user to easily set the ideal magnification ratio and field of view for any situation.

Ultra-clear HD AMOLED-Display on the PULSAR Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro

The impressive, high-resolution 1024×768 HD AMOLED display is characterised by a Improved colour rendering and high contrast to deliver a clear and smooth picture at all times.

In combination with the wide-angle eyepiece of 29.5°, this thermal imaging riflescope offers comfortable image perception without a tunnelling effect and without eye strain, even during prolonged viewing

The Picture-in-picture mode utilises 10 % of the AMOLED display, to display an HD zeroing frame to the user.

n this mode, a magnified image of the target and reticle is displayed while maintaining visual control over the entire field of view.

The integrated video (including recoil-activated) and Image recording in MPEG-4 and .jpg makes sharing thermal imaging snapshots quick and easy. The internal 16 GB memory can easily cope with bumps and stores hours of video footage or thousands of photos.

Multiple zeroing profiles for the PULSAR Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro

With the Thermion 2 XP50 Pro has 5 shooting profiles are available for a variety of weapon or cartridge types.

Each profile can save up to 10 zero position distances and offers a total of up to 50 zero position distances.

In addition, a Choice of 10 electronic reticles (including static, ballistic and scalable reticles) are available in 9 colour variants. These electronic reticles are displayed in the same plane as the target.

Experienced hunters can determine which functionalities are actually useful in practice for the respective hunting use. Hunters then decide for yourself.

The Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro works for up to 10 hours on a single charge. Two batteries (one built-in with a capacity of 4.9 Ah and one replaceable with a capacity of 2 Ah) are available.

The second battery can be replaced quickly thanks to the embossing on the housing, so that the batteries can be replaced easily and conveniently by touch in complete darkness.

The Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro has been designed to be robust and durable while retaining the familiar optics of a riflescope when mounted on any hunting rifle with a standard 30 mm ring.

Large calibre weapons are no problem. The WB riflescope has a recoil resistance of up to 6000 joules. 375 H&H, 12 gauge and 9.3×64 are therefore no problem.

The riflescope is designed for use in a wide range of temperatures and works at -25 to +50 °C. The waterproofness according to IPX7 means that the Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro works without any problems even in heavy rain, high humidity and even after immersion in up to 3 metres of water for up to 30 minutes.

Choosing the right thermal imaging target device

Today's thermal imaging target devices are high-end precision devices of the latest design

They comprehensively fulfil the Needs of hunters and marksmenwhich place the highest demands on the performance of the target devices.

Dual-use devices:
These are suitable both for use by hand and as an attachment for a day optic on a weapon. When used as attachments, they are attached to a target optic - usually the objective lens - using a clamping adapter.

Clamping adapters are offered both by suppliers of thermal imaging optics themselves and by various manufacturers. Disadvantage: Clamping solutions can lead to aiming errors and thus to unintended animal suffering.

Thermal imaging target optics / night vision target optics:
These high-end devices are mounted on the weapon as independent optical sights, are extremely precise and have their own internal reticle with many adjustment options.

The essential elements of a thermal imaging optic include

1. the objective lens (the size determines the amount of heat radiation that enters the WB device and thus reaches the heat sensor)

2. the thermal image sensor / detector (determines the resolution via its temperature sensitivity, good formats are 640 x 480 pixels). Important here is the performance of less than 35 mk NETD sensitivity (thermal sensitivity of the sensor - the smaller, the better).

3. the quality of the OLED screen (affects the image display) - 1024×768 is a good standard today.

Thermal imaging optics / night vision optics are even classified as prohibited articles in various countries! Even possession is prohibited and punishable by law. Please observe the applicable legal situation in your country.

Whether a WB optic is sufficiently bulletproof is one of the most important criteria in the selection process - especially for powerful calibres.

When firing, considerable forces act on the WB riflescope. Riflescopes are described as bulletproofif they can withstand these forces without any changes to the housing, the mechanics or the reticle.

The high standard of good thermal imaging optics means that the Shot resistance of target optics guaranteed.

Just like this Just as important as the bullet resistance of WB riflescopes is the bullet resistance of mounts.
