The origin begins with the Mannlicher-Schönauer socks in the year 1903: At that time a ultra-compact legend created with a Barrel length of 46 cm in calibre 6.5×54 Mannlicher Schönauer.
Through the Low weight of 3.1 kg and its compact design, it became particularly popular in the Mountain use. Soon known as THE rifle for chamois hunting she also found much favour in the Prischjagd.
It is now the year 2023Together with Steyr Arms we were looking for a concept that combines the tried and tested with the new to create a legend. The result is the STEYR GAMS.
With only 2.4 kg in the same Weight class like break-barrel guns but as a bolt action rifle with the extra safety for difficult shots. And all that: MADE IN AUSTRIA
Our UNIC carbon fibre stock has proven to be the perfect combination with the extremely lightweight rifle system from Steyr Arms has been emphasised. The design of the centre stock has been optimised so that the magazine box, trigger guard and bedding form a single unit. This means that even the last few grams have been extracted and a durable design achieved.
Steyr Gams - the rifle system
Based on the Steyr Scout, the GAMS offers an integrated Picatinny rail in the Aluminium system sleeve and the well-known Trigger units of the Steyr SM12 or CLII.
Positive: The selection of prints from Fuse wheel + French engraver about Hand tensioner + French engraver until Safety wheel + pressure point trigger.
The fluted barrel is fitted with a Mouth thread 1/2-28UNF and has a match muzzle. It is cold hammered and extremely resistant due to the Mannox coating.

Steyr Gams - the UNIC carbon fibre stock
Our UNIC carbon fibre stock is equally suitable for right and left-handed shooters and offers a Optimum position of the trigger finger and an adjustable cheek piece.
Also included in the equipment are the Spartan bipod adapter and the stainless steel Push&Go quick-release sling bar from Halder.
The forend is slightly flat on the underside so that it can also be placed precisely on solid supports and has Two retaining rails. The Carbon fabric is in a laminated in layers in a special way and therefore unbreakable.
Recoil damping is achieved by the hollow carbon fibre bodyr and makes even light weapons comfortable to shoot. The adjustable cheek piece can be removed at any time without tools and the mechanism can be cleaned if necessary - dirt can never be avoided, but the design should make cleaning easy.
Interesting extra: The Jaw adjustment mechanism has overload protectionThis means that the cheek piece retracts if you fall with the weapon, for example. All in all, our best stock for your hunting experience.

The lightweight and robust 3D-printed Titanium Top-mounted silencer from the INCA KTi series for every calibre. Fits any barrel thread via thread adapter or quick release.
Minus 34 dB damping performance with a length of 120 mm from the muzzle, a diameter of 44 mm and only 200 grams!
Especially for Hunting applications is usually a Silencer with very low weight interesting.
Lower weight means Less change in the running oscillation and thus less change in the Meeting point location. And something else is of great interest in practice: LOW CLEANING EFFORT
FBT & CARBON
... A little history with background information.
Since the first FBT Carbon model for the Blaser R8 system, the stock model family has grown considerably. Tikka, Sauer, Mauser, Steyr, HEYM and HOWA are served with the monocoque stocks. Recently we have been able to claim to be able to equip any weapon system with a carbon stock. The name of the new miracle stock: UNIC Universal Carbon Stock.
Why an FBT shaft?
There are hundreds of different weapon systems on the market. They all have the same basic idea, namely to accelerate a projectile as precisely as possible in one direction. Which mechanism is used as the breech is relatively irrelevant.
The barrel shoots, the stock hits" - that is our motto. Compared to the automotive industry, we would be the tyre manufacturer that gets the best out of every drive concept. All-wheel drive with summer tyres in the snow? No point, the same applies to precision weapon systems with a poor tyre fitment.
SUPERERGONOMIC WEAPON STOCK
As the thumbhole stock does not only have advantages for bolt action rifles with rotary cylinder locks, FBT has developed the so-called "Superergonomic" stock. It offers the same relaxed pistol grip position as the thumbhole stock, but enables a super-fast repeating action.
REVOLUTION WEAPONRY
Proven a thousand times over and still the classic. The Straight buttstock shape manages the Recoil direct and straight to the shoulder of the shooter and prevents the unpleasant upstroke of the rifle. The low hand position means that the trigger finger is perfectly aligned and straight.
Despite the low weight the recoil even with powerful calibres such as 300 Winchester Magnum or even 338 Lapua Magnum can still be described as comfortable. Available as a monocoque shaft or as a UNIC universal carbon shaft.
