Long-range shooting seminar up to 500 metres by Deuring Waffen in Bezau | our experience report on participation

In the CW19 2025 found the renowned Angle shooting seminar from Albert Herbert Deuring weapons in Bezau an idyllic place in the Bregenzerwald, Vorarlberg, Austria.

This seminar, which focussed on shooting up to 500 metres with a steep shot, attracted numerous participants, including passionate hunters and sport shooters.

Our participation with Exhibition of test weapons and silencers offered a unique opportunity to present the innovative products - especially UNIC Carbon shafts, Silencer and Spartan products - to the public.

The seminar was organised by Zeno Odermattan experienced sniper instructor and former school commander of the grenadiers in Isone. His expertise made the event an instructive experience.

We used this specialised event to show how our products can improve accuracy when firing in demanding scenarios such as the wide shot or the shot at a steep angle, improve.

Procedure of the Deuring Angle Shooting Seminar: Shooting in and shooting at long distances

The Seminar began with an introduction to the basics of the long shot.

The participants (2 groups of 10 participants per day) were accompanied by 5 supervisors to ensure individual support and a seamless programme.

Initially, the Firing the weapons at a distance of 100 metres This provides the basis for being able to shoot weapons accurately at distances of up to 500 metres.

This was followed by shooting at 200 and 300 metres on the flat to check the precision.

After working out the click adjustment up to 300m, you can switch to the angle shot.

The targets - target crosses and animal silhouettes such as roe deer, chamois, stag and mouflon - were placed at various distances (250m, 300m, 400m and 500m) to simulate shooting at game at a steep angle.

The gradients ranged from 17 degrees at 250 metres to 32 degrees at 500 metres, which presented the participants with complex ballistic challenges.

One highlight was the use of Bullseye Target Cameras, the hits to tablets in real time.

This technology enabled immediate feedback and helped to refine shooting techniques, a clear advantage for the participants of the Angle shooting seminar.

Products from Fine Ballistic Tools: Carbon shafts and silencers

We presented our high-quality products together with Zeiss Sport Opticswhich was specially developed to improve shooting performance. The focus was particularly on the Carbon shafts, Silencers and Spartan products, which aroused great interest among hunters and marksmen.

Carbon shafts: lightness and precision

The UNIC Carbon shafts are characterised by their lightness and rigidity. These properties improve the handling and increase the precision of the weapon. The low weight reduces shooter fatigue, especially during longer shooting sessions, while the stiffness of the carbon material minimises vibrations and ensures a more stable shot - a decisive factor for accuracy.

Silencer: comfort and performance

Our INCA Silencer reduce recoil and muzzle blast, which increases comfort when shooting and improves accuracy. A lower recoil allows you to aim again more quickly - ideal for rapid firing sequences. In addition, the Silencer hearing, an often underestimated advantage at such events.

Participants' experience with Fine Ballistic Tools complete weapons

The participants of the Angle shooting seminar were impressed by the products from Fine Ballistic Tools enthusiastic. Many tested the Carbon shafts and Silencer themselves and praised the results. One experienced hunter said: "I have never shot so accurately at 500 metres. The Carbon shaft and the Silencer have exceeded my expectations."

Another shooter added: "The products from Fine Ballistic Tools have noticeably improved my shooting performance. I will definitely invest in this equipment." The opportunity to use the Test products under real conditionswas a decisive factor for many in recognising their quality.
