UNIC Carbon customised stock 100% for Blaser K95? YES, you can do that in our Performance Centre in Gröbming

In a rifle, the stock is perhaps the most important component. It connects all the main weapon assemblies together or serves purely as a grip and shoulder rest. Break-action rifles and many other modern hunting rifles have a split stock and consist of Front and rear stock. However, most hunting rifles have a full-length stock.

We currently have a Tilting barrel gunnamely the Blaser K95built a completely customised carbon stock for a mountain fighter. We would like to present this project here.

We were very happy to fulfil this telephone enquiry. We love challenges and creating customised solutions. To this end, we arranged an appointment at our premises in Gröbming.

Our customer has a Mountain area and is constantly travelling with his Blaser K95. But now it was time for a change. The Wooden shaft was not ideal in bad weather and the handle didn't fit either.

Our customer showed us his sketches made by handexplained his ideas to us and we discussed the concept on his gun. We then went to CAD and the first 3D drawings were created and modified until the stock fitted the features.

After that, the first 3D printing prototyping socket model to test it directly with the customer. Until it is 100% clear whether the dimensions and ergonomics are optimised for the body, it makes no sense to produce a UNIC carbon shaft.

This was followed by the final changes in the CAD designs and the construction of the customised UNIC carbon stock for the Blaser K95 break-action rifle could begin. After completion, the new stock was "married" to the K95 rifle and we were ready to go.

We could hardly wait to see the new Blaser K95 Weapons concept in our 100 m shooting range to test. This was immediately followed by the test with different Ammunition factories to find out how the shaft behaves.

Background information Carbon shaft customisation

"The barrel shoots, the stock hits" - true to this old saying, we were able to produce an optimally fitting carbon stock for shooters. The stock is essential for the easy handling of a weapon and transfers the recoil of the bullet impulse to the shooter.

With customised shafts, it is always possible to determine all the different shaft dimensions that are crucial for an intuitive and fluid touch.

Thanks to today's CAD technology and modern 3D printing processes we are now able to draw a construction, visualise it in three dimensions and use it to produce a dummy for the body test at relatively low cost.

It was also interesting for us to have a Carbon stock in wood class 11 to build.
