SIGNATURE Carbon FBT rifle from Rössler with UNIC carbon stock | a super "100% Made in Austria" co-operation development together with the Tyrolean company
The first SIGNATURE firearms with wooden stocks and synthetic stock have already been presented at the IWA2023.
We are proud to work together with the Rössler RÖWA GmbH to have developed the carbon fibre stock for the Signature.
Thanks to the Gunmaking expertise from Rössler and ours on the subject of Carbon shaft The result is a hunting rifle (bolt action) with very elegant characteristics that certainly does not have to hide internationally.
Walter Rössler: "We are very pleased about the new co-operation with the Austrian company FBT. The timing of this collaboration was ideal, as we were not entirely satisfied with our previous suppliers. The carbon shafts we had previously produced were very nice, but unfortunately we often had to send them back to our supplier before assembly due to deviating dimensions. With the new carbon shafts from FBT, we were able to close the gap perfectly with a very precisely manufactured, more beautiful and better carbon shaft."
Rössler SIGNATURE Carbon FBT | Background information and history
For some time now, we have been "sniffing" at each other to see if there could be any approaches for a co-operation. But it was always the case that either Rössler or we couldn't.
But then came the unexpected meeting at the Visit to the Game Fair France trade fair 2023 where we can UNIC Carbonschaft Award - "Product of the Year 2023" accepted.
At the stand of our joint sales partner, at the Clay pigeon shooting and during the evening programme there were many topics that we discussed. And YES, they both had time this time and that SIGNATURE Carbonschaft project was launched. 3/4 of a year later, we have now been able to IWA 2024 present the joint project.

Our opinions on the SIGNATURE
The SIGNATURE weapon offers a weapon system with Lightweight aluminium system sleeve and proven technology of the Titan 6 model series. The barrel is interchangeable, which, among other things, enables Thorough cleaning of all components facilitated.
About a Clamping lever on the lock the new Rössler offers a easy to operate manual clamping system. This means it is compatible with all modern security features is ideally equipped. The repeating action is "silky smooth" - similar to what we know from the new Sauer 505 know.
The Button-wound barrel comes from the well-known "Precision forge" by Lothar Walther, is equipped with a Mouth thread M15x1 and has a match muzzle. It is button-rifled and extremely resistant due to the gas nitriding. You can find the complete specifications HERE
Interesting detail: Rössler deliberately dispenses with nitriding on the inner surface of the barrel in order to utilise the full potential of Lothar Walther's high-precision manufacturing.
The following are also always exciting Discussions about the barrel length which are still considered too short by some hunters.
Therefore, here is our test proof using the example of the 308 WIN for the following SIGNATURE models:
- 308 calibre with barrel length = 470 mm | Ø = 17 mm | with muzzle thread M15x1
- 308 calibre with barrel length = 510 mm | Ø = 17 mm | with muzzle thread M15x1
- 308 calibre with barrel length = 520 mm | Ø = 17 mm | with muzzle thread M15x1
In the run-up to this, we had carried out a test with Blaser R8 barrels in our own Shooting cellar and shortened them in several calibres by 25 mm each.
The Performance data of the 308 WIN can be HERE in the test documentation with different manufacturers' makes and bullet weights.
